Starting in a world of vague complication, a blue primordial slime is addressed by a disembodied voice.  After arming itself, the being that speaks to it offers a transformation to humanity. In lieu of this transformation,  a portal appears. Without any preempt, the slime turned human dives unknowingly into what will become a chain of lifetimes, each plagued with their own distortions and hardships. Who knows which choices affect which outcomes?
